WORD is Tommy Mottola is this close to popping the question to South American soap dish Thalia. The Sony honcho and his sexy senorita looked positively smitten as they celebrated Mottola’s birthday at a Da Silvano bash with pals Will Smith, Harvey Keitel, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro last week. A few nights later, at another bash tossed by Emilio and Gloria Estefan at Miami Beach’s Cardozo hotel, a pal took one look at the lovebirds and predicted, “They’ll be engaged very soon.”
